“THE BROOKFIELD FLOATING BRIDGE: PAST, PRESENT & FUTURE PROSPECTS”
WHAT: Following a very brief business meeting, a three-part program on “The Brookfield Floating Bridge” will be presented. Local historian Kit Gage will review the history of the bridge, engineers John Benson and Greg Wight will talk about the structural design of the bridge, and Diane McInerney from the Vermont Division of Historic Preservation will discuss prospects for the restoration of the iconic Brookfield landmark.
